About Us

Introduction

The Koinonia Inclusion Network (KIN) is a parachurch organisation and registered charity that partners with churches to enable them to include people with disabilities.

Our name, which begins with the Greek word “koinonia” (community/partnership) used in the New Testament, emphasises our ethos of building communities of believers through including people with disabilities. Our logo, coloured in orange and yellow, represents the passion and dynamism of believers gifted by the Holy Spirit, including those with disabilities. Our acronym, KIN, emphasises how all Christians belong together united in Christ as one family under God.

Vision

Enabled Christian Communities

Our vision emphasizes our conviction that churches are enabled when people with disabilities are included, in line with God’s design for the Church to reflect unity in diversity

A person has only one body, but it has many parts.

Yes, there are many parts, but all those parts are still

just one body. Christ is like that too.

– 1 Corinthians 12:12 (ERV)
